Best Gelato: Cold Fusion Gelato
The inventory of artisan gelatos and sorbets at Cold fusion is the reason
we look forward to ninety-degree days. Served in fluted harlequin-striped
bowls with brightly colored spatulas, there’s a flavor here for every
ice cream lover as well as sorbet for the lactose-intolerant. There are
traditional Italian offerings like ricotta and hazelnut and dazzling new
varieties such as chocolate-banana and Mirabelle plum. Owner Torrance Kopfer
left a job on Wall Street to focus on his premium gelatos and, boy, are
we grateful.
